Consultant, Infrastructure (Cisco) --San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas
We are seeking an individual with proven experience in planning, architecting, and delivering high value IT infrastructure solutions for our mid- to enterprise-level accounts throughout the Texas region. This candidate will be involved in presales engagement activities as well as our account management team.

In addition to the technical requirements, the candidate must understand the business value of implementing these solutions. Your ability to clearly communicate various solutions to the client through formal presentations, document deliverables and manage expectations will be key to your success.

Minimum Required Experience and Education:

  • 5 years of experience with proven success designing and implementing Cisco technologies
  • Proven working knowledge will all Cisco infrastructure technologies
  • Experience with Cisco wireless and IPT solutions is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
  • Four-year college degree
  • Consulting background preferred
  • Proven business writing skills
  • Cisco CCNP
  • CCIE a plus

Consultant, Cisco Unified Communications -- Dallas, San Antonio or Houston
We are seeking individuals to work closely with our Fortune 1000 clients in designing, implementing, and supporting their Cisco Unified Communications Systems. In addition to having a complete understanding of all aspects of the Cisco Unified Communications solutions, candidate must have a strong working knowledge of core Cisco network infrastructure.

Your involvement in our Unified Communications opportunities will start with the initial customer calls, through the design phases and into the complete implementation of the solution. You will be able to see the projects from start to finish. You must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision with strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of multi-site, mixed-technology enterprise environments. This position requires excellent communications skills (written and verbal) plus the ability to work as part of a team.

Minimum Required Experience and Education:

  • Two plus years of experience designing and implementing Cisco Unified Communications solutions
  • Two plus years of telephony design and implementation experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco QoS policy configuration
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Unified Contact Center Express or Enterprise a plus
  • Solid understanding of Cisco core infrastructure products
  • Ability to work in an enterprise consulting environment
  • Excellent communication skills and professional appearance essential
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Consulting background preferred
  • Any Unified Communications Specialized certifications a plus

Pre-Sales Engineer, Security -- Dallas
Accudata Systems, Inc. is a premier IT consulting and integration firm with more than two decades of experience providing high value IT services and integrated solutions focused on enterprise network and security infrastructure.

We are seeking an individual with proven experience in providing technical pre-sales support for our account management team when engaging our Fortune 1000 clients on the design, implementation, and support of their enterprise security infrastructure. Your ability to clearly articulate security solutions to our existing customer base and prospects is essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Provide technical expertise on sales calls
Assist customers with understanding, selecting, and architecting appropriate security solutions
Develop statements of work and bill of materials
Perform evaluation installs of security products for customers
Stay current on latest trends and innovations in IT Security
Work with Accudata's vendor partners to stay up to date on product enhancements

Some of the technology solutions the candidate must fully understand and comprehend include firewalls, routing and switching SSL VPNs, IPS, web content filtering, and two-factor authentication. A strong understanding of security best practices and concepts is required. Candidate must be able to quickly learn several products across a wide range of security technologies.

Qualifications:

Business and Professional Experience:
Effective written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Professional dress and appearance

Minimum Technical Experience and Education:
4 to 6 years of experience with proven success in designing, installing and supporting security technologies
Strong working knowledge of Cisco security products is required
Strong working knowledge of security products from Juniper, Checkpoint, BlueCoat, McAfee and RSA Security is preferred
Bachelor's Degree and hands on implementation background preferred
CISSP, CCSP, CCNA Security, CCIE or similar certification preferred

This position will require a fair amount of local travel within the greater DFW area and some day trips to remote cities (Houston, Austin and San Antonio). Occasional overnight trips may be required for training, seminars or vendor events.
