Accudata Systems Earns Third Competency With Microsoft – The Information Worker Solutions Competency

HOUSTON , TX , DECEMBER 16, 2005 Accudata Systems , Inc. today announced it has earned a third competency with Microsoft – the  Information Worker Solutions Competency. As a Managed Gold Partner, Accudata Systems  has already demonstrated its technical expertise in at least two competencies - the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency and the Microsoft Security Solutions Competency.

Competencies are granted only to those partners who can meet certification requirements and provide customer references that are verified and approved by Microsoft. Microsoft has aligned market opportunities with five specializations within the Information Worker Solutions Competency:

• Messaging and Collaboration: developing Messaging and Collaboration solutions using the Microsoft Office System, Microsoft Exchange Server, Office Live Communications Server 2003, and Windows SharePoint Services

• Office System Desktop Deployment: providing Desktop Deployment solutions to customers wishing to upgrade to the latest version of programs in the Microsoft Office System

• Enterprise Project Management: developing Enterprise Project Management solutions based on Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003

• Portals and Enterprise Content Management: portal solutions using Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft Content Management Server.

• Office Smart Client Development: building solutions using XML and Web Services in Office Professional 2003 (including Infopath), and solutions built using Visual Studio Tools for Office

Accudata Systems ' focus area is Messaging and Collaboration, which positions the Company to leverage the Office System Desktop Deployment and Portals and Enterprise Content Management specializations. Earning the Information Worker Competency demonstrates Accudata Systems ' capabilities in other technologies such as SharePoint Portal and Systems Management Server - two areas that Microsoft has identified as key productivity enhancing platforms for its customers.
