Accudata Systems Hosts 2nd Annual Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament in Houston, TX
HOUSTON, TX, APRIL 20, 2006 -- Accudata Systems, Inc., a leading IT consulting and integration firm, conducted its second annual Texas Hold'em poker tournament for its Houston area clients at the Intercontinental Hotel. Numerous people attended the event to enjoy food, fun, and fellowship as well as the chance to win some exciting prizes while playing the most popular poker game played in casinos in the United States.
The evening began with all of the players battling it out at six different tables. The six winners at each table then advanced to the championship round to determine the overall winner. At the conclusion of a fun-filled evening of playing Texas Hold'em “flop,” “turn,” and “river” cards, a video iPod was awarded to first-place winner Darrin Nguyen of Synagro. After a championship round for the ages, Sara Wheeler of HCTRA Harris County Toll Toad Authority came in a close second and won a poker set. A similar event will be held for clients in the Dallas area later this year.
